The
Ghost Train
After the immensely successful , hilarious Ray Cooney farce Platform 8 will be returning to the Mission Theatre in November with Arnold Ridley’s The Ghost Train.
Featuring some Platform 8 regulars, who have recently appeared in The Diary of Anne frank and Out of Order, this promises to be a spooky evening’s entertainment.
This classic drama was first produced in 1925 and has been filmed no less than three times.
A very silly young man accidentally strands six passengers at a small Cornish wayside station. Despite the psychic stationmaster’s weird stories of a ghost train, they decide to stay the night in the waiting room. Soon they regret the decision as ghostly and not so ghostly apparitions materialize before the young man reveals the true reason behind the night’s events.
